Cuti Di Pantai Timur!

Berhari raya korban di kampung hubby di Kuala Terennganu. Went back on the Hari Raya itself. Before that tak cuti coz got to gilir-gilirlah dengan people here. Kalau kita jek asyik cuti sian plak kat orang lain kan. Lagipun got to help mama to prepare ketupat and other dishes for raya. And dapat gaklah merasa mama punya masakan on the pagi raya itself. Mama cooked nasi tomato and ketupat pulut. Yummy. Sorry tak sempat nak ambik gambar coz so busy eating and preparing to bertolak to Terengganu. Kena makan puas-puas the ketupat pulut sebab dekat pantai timur they buat jugak ketupat pulut but mostlynya they will fry the ketupat. So rasa tak sama dan lain. And since I am half utara and half KL so my taste would be the pure ketupat pulut cicah with rendang ayam and daging.

Bila balik tu tengok they all sibuk bakar lemang. The next day day barulah buat korban. 2 ekor gak yang berjaya ditumbangkan. So this year I korban so had to pegang the lembu untuk niat korban. Entahlah orang suruh buat. Some part tak payah pegang just niat akad saja. Ikut jelah. So first time pegang lembu..hikhik...geli. So dah abis korban tu lapah and potong daging (tak buat pun) hubby cakap takyah...yang menurut perintah....bahagikan then masak gulai, bakar and the tulang buat sup. Sup gearbox tu. Sedap the soup. Actually I'm not into soup much but soup yang dimasak oleh Ayah Cik tu memang sedap. But can't enjoy much coz daughter keep on kacau me eating. Hemmm...So minggu lepas banyak betul makan daging. There goes my diet again. Rasanya sampai tahun baru ni takleh nak dietlah. Banyak betul godaan.

So selepas beraya dengan jayanya tibalah masa untuk bercuti pulak. Bukannya apa this is the only time that me and my husband can have a holiday. Banyak kali dah cancel. Lagipun nak ambik cuti lama-lama tugas pulak menghalang. As for me I have to plan way way ahead if I want to take a long holiday. Susah kena cari pengganti. Lepas tu kena vacate hari-hari yang nak cuti. Tulah bila ada cuti-cuti Malaysia ni ambillah kesempatan. 2 in 1. Balik kampung hubby dan pegi bercuti my way....

So decided to drop by kat Cherating. Memang gamble giler. Tak ada booking mana-mana hotel pun. Bukannya apa sebab the weather prediction pun kata air pasanglah...so before anything we have to make sure that the pantai ok yang ombak pun ok. And hari yang nak berlepas tu hubby (being orang laut as he claimed...duhhh...) kata laut ok dan tak ada masalah. So we proceed. Normally it will only take around 2 hours to reach Cherating from hubby's kampung but dear hubby ni bawak keta sikit punya slow. Cruisinglah plak. Sambil makan sata. Itu delicacies from Terengganu. Sedap. Well apa lagi made from ikanglah. Itukan specialty Terengganu. So sambil makan and jalam jem lagi tu yang we reached Cherating around 7pm. It took us 3 and half hour. Mak oiii (macam Reen cakap). Penat. So our stop for that day was Impiana. I have been there like 12 years ago. At that time hotel tu macam bestlah. But now oklah but the room cuma lama je. I ni suka yang baru dan modern tapi oklah. The bed is so sedap tido. So we only had room service that day. Penat tau travel ni. U know hubby cheh konon nak order ais kacang..sampai-sampai jek...mak datok!!!!besar giler...3 orang makan pun tak abis...well 5 orang makan pun belum tentu habis. Let me tell it was really huge!!! Macam gunung berapi!!! Sedap. I had nasi goreng istimewa. Oklah sekadar mengalas perut.

Since I ni ada satu perangai yang suka duduk hotel yang best-best jek with facilities yang baru dan cantik....ye ye a very bad habit....so macam tak syok je duduk hotel lama. Jadi I persuaded my darling hubby to check out from Impiana dan check in kat Legend plak. So off we go again. Hem...hotel lama gak. What to do..duduk jelah. But the room is bigger and the food have more variety. And the pool was huge. Banyak section...ya ya like i'm going to swim pun. The little one rasalah jugak the pool but over betul dia menggigil lebih-lebih. So cuma 30mins je dia mandi. Itupun eksen nak mandi lama. Tak sedar diri lagi tuh. Went to the beach. A very peaceful and relaxing moment for me. Seronok betul bercuti. Some people suka belanja the money for baju, handbags, pinggan mangkuk, barang kemas but for me and hubby benda-benda macam tu kami sedikit berkira but kalau bab bercuti and pampering ourselves ni memang tak berkira lansung. As I said life is short so why don't we enjoy God's creation dan jaga ciptaanNya seperti jaga badan dan alam sekitar. Hati pun tenang. Tapi the holiday was a bit spoilt coz hubby had to do his assignment. Next week nak pegi Sabah but hubby kena kerja gak...so bilalah nak cuti sepenuhnya??? Bersyukurlahkan daripada tak pegi langsung...

Two Little Teddies

Cute tak the two babies ni? One is my niece and the other is my daughter...Nurul Amaaneey Mardhiyyah. Took the pics last Saturday. Waktu tu Amaaneey demam. Baju yang they all pakai tu tak sangka sama. Maktok dia yang belikan. My sis came tu mama's house tup tup sama baju. Hehehe...sehati sejiwa. My niece Auni is like 4 months younger than Amaaneey. They do look alike kan. Itulah two little teddies....

Dulu masa belajar kat MRSM I have 2 very good friends (still my good friends) Mie2 and Runiz. We called ourselves 3 little teddies. That name diambil sempena the cartoon character. Memang so childish time tu but it was fun.

Tommorow is Hari Raya Haji. Will be going back to hubby's hometown for korban. Will post later about that and also the road going back. Yelah kot-kot ada banjir ke...hope not. So di kesempatan ini I would like to wish my friends and family Selamat Hari Raya Korban....marilah kita berkorban.

P/S: Orang yang diharap-harapkan baca tamau bukak pun. Bila cakap baru nak baca itupun not with full heart...sigh...

Spa

Last weekend I went to Cintasari Tradispa to claim the free facial voucher worth RM45. Oklah the service. Sedap sangat. They are using Citra Ayu. Muka pun rasa selesa and sejuk. Gebu pipi after the treatment. Hubby said so..hehehe...Lepas dah buat facial tengok dalam brochure apa lagi yang boleh dibuat. Then I decided to buat hair treatment since my hair is so dry and dull. The treatment was good and excellant. Cost me around RM 90. All in all only cost RM98 plus face sponge that I bought. Tamaulah campur-campur dengan sponge orang lain. Every month they all ada buat promotion. This month promotion is Vanila Mocha which consists of sauna aromatherapy, body massage, vanilla mocha scrub, seaweed treatment, flowers and coconut milk bath and ginger tea drink. Usually it will cost u like RM300 per session but on promotion only RM190. Very very tempting. Nak tengok bajetlah like this. Seronok once in a while pemper our body ni. Yelah letih kerja kan. Dapat rehat and pamper your body can really revive and rejuvenite your body and soul. Speaking of mocha, last Friday had lunch with Syida.Hajat di hati nak cari choc mud pie but bila samai Damaz tengok starbucks rasa nak minum plak. Seriously I am not a coffee lover. I am more into tea. But entahlah that day rasa macam nak become adventureous plak. So I ordered entahlah nama apa but something caramel fatuccino. Memang sedap. Sampai sekarang teringat-ingat. U know when I go to like coffee bean ke starbucks ke gloria jeans ke I never ordered coffee but always ordered crushed lemonade, ice tea or chocolate drink, anything but coffee. So bila rasa tu hemmm sedap. Syida pun sampai meleleh-leleh air liur..hehehe..teipuceee...Makan...bila dah minum sebanyak tu makan pun sikitlah. I only had sardine roll while syida had cheese and onion bread. Kenyang air.

Cant wait for the lunch with Syahrin next week. Kali ni kalau pegi Delicious nak order steak pulak. This Thursday will go back to hubby's hometown in KT for raya haji. Korban sana. Then holiday in Cherating and next week KK, Sabah...can't wait for the holidays....

Makan!

Last Wednesday attended farewell lunch for our beloved Pn Hapipah at Halia Restoren situated in Sime Darby Convention Centre. Tak jauh dari office around 10mins drive. But kalau dengan my driving ability it took us about 15-20 mins nak sampai. I am a very careful driver...hehehe...biar lambat asal selamat. Actually this was our second time there. Bukannya sedap sangat but consider cheap and near the office. Anyway its not our choice pun..say no more...But seriously the food...hemmm...how shall i put it....average kot or below skit (i tried to describe it in a very nice way ok).

This was what I had for the main dish. Basically I took everything yang they served on the table. Nasi with deep fried calamari, Vietnamese beef sautee and lamb curry, deep fried prawn, mix vegie, and steamed chicken breast with ginger and onion. Yang paling sedap was deep fried calamari. But the rest taklah berapa. I mean its like this...sekali je u will eat. You takkan ulang-ulang lagi dah. And i think it was a bit dry. Takada kuah pun or sos. So u won't be able to enjoy much.

This was the appetizer. Popiah, kerabu, corn and a bit of sambal belacan plus salad dressing. The popiah was quite nice. But I know the combination memang tak kena. What else to take. Tu yang combination macam tu.

Ini macam bubur cha cha but u'll be surprised that it was actually Vietnamese agar-agar. Hem..too sweat. The taste was not even near bubur cha cha. Tu agar-agar. The combination tak kena langsung. I only had 2 spoon.

Last but not least the assorted fresh fruits skewer with chocolate fundae. Fresh fruits with chocolate coated. You can choose from honey dew, watermelon, papaya or itu je kot. Tak banyak choice. No strawberry though. Kalau ada strawberry barulah boleh jadi macam Datuk K and Siti...hehehehe....tapi choc dia tak sedap. So only had one bite.

Syidah, Kak Mia and Munah sedang sibuk makan. Muka masing-masing macam enjoy the food tapi berlakon jek tu. Munah makan pun tak abis. Syida as usual tak makan nasi. Cayalah Syida. Semangat kental.

Azniza sedang cuba menghabiskan dessert yang berupa sago, brownies, marble cheese cake and opera cake while Syida looked on. But the marble cheese cake tu taste buah durian!! Seriously pelik. Cheese durian. Hem best ke???

So that was our luch on Wednesday. we each manage to finish our meal by two o'clock. Ye ye Munah dapat kembali ke office dengan segera. Sapa kata governement officer tak punctual...duhhh.

I really like to post song's lyrics here. Kadang-kadang susah kita nak express diri kita by saying outloud or some things are just not meant to be said. That's why one way to express myself is by songs. Sebenarnya lagu-lagu yang I post here ada kena-mengena dengan hidup saya tak kiralah past or present. So it is actually describing who I really am and what I am feeling at the moment. And ia juga adalah cerita kisah silam saya. Cuma which songs describe which time tu tak boleh nak cakap. Then and again I leave to your imagination. You know bila I'm sad or when I'm feeling blue i like to listen to this song tittle Sara...sebenarnya takada kena mengena dengan my life pun cuma I like the melody. So soothing and lepas tu kurang sikitlah kesedihan tu. Macam tulah......
