Cuti Di Pantai Timur!

Berhari raya korban di kampung hubby di Kuala Terennganu. Went back on the Hari Raya itself. Before that tak cuti coz got to gilir-gilirlah dengan people here. Kalau kita jek asyik cuti sian plak kat orang lain kan. Lagipun got to help mama to prepare ketupat and other dishes for raya. And dapat gaklah merasa mama punya masakan on the pagi raya itself. Mama cooked nasi tomato and ketupat pulut. Yummy. Sorry tak sempat nak ambik gambar coz so busy eating and preparing to bertolak to Terengganu. Kena makan puas-puas the ketupat pulut sebab dekat pantai timur they buat jugak ketupat pulut but mostlynya they will fry the ketupat. So rasa tak sama dan lain. And since I am half utara and half KL so my taste would be the pure ketupat pulut cicah with rendang ayam and daging.

Bila balik tu tengok they all sibuk bakar lemang. The next day day barulah buat korban. 2 ekor gak yang berjaya ditumbangkan. So this year I korban so had to pegang the lembu untuk niat korban. Entahlah orang suruh buat. Some part tak payah pegang just niat akad saja. Ikut jelah. So first time pegang lembu..hikhik...geli. So dah abis korban tu lapah and potong daging (tak buat pun) hubby cakap takyah...yang menurut perintah....bahagikan then masak gulai, bakar and the tulang buat sup. Sup gearbox tu. Sedap the soup. Actually I'm not into soup much but soup yang dimasak oleh Ayah Cik tu memang sedap. But can't enjoy much coz daughter keep on kacau me eating. Hemmm...So minggu lepas banyak betul makan daging. There goes my diet again. Rasanya sampai tahun baru ni takleh nak dietlah. Banyak betul godaan.

So selepas beraya dengan jayanya tibalah masa untuk bercuti pulak. Bukannya apa this is the only time that me and my husband can have a holiday. Banyak kali dah cancel. Lagipun nak ambik cuti lama-lama tugas pulak menghalang. As for me I have to plan way way ahead if I want to take a long holiday. Susah kena cari pengganti. Lepas tu kena vacate hari-hari yang nak cuti. Tulah bila ada cuti-cuti Malaysia ni ambillah kesempatan. 2 in 1. Balik kampung hubby dan pegi bercuti my way....

So decided to drop by kat Cherating. Memang gamble giler. Tak ada booking mana-mana hotel pun. Bukannya apa sebab the weather prediction pun kata air pasanglah...so before anything we have to make sure that the pantai ok yang ombak pun ok. And hari yang nak berlepas tu hubby (being orang laut as he claimed...duhhh...) kata laut ok dan tak ada masalah. So we proceed. Normally it will only take around 2 hours to reach Cherating from hubby's kampung but dear hubby ni bawak keta sikit punya slow. Cruisinglah plak. Sambil makan sata. Itu delicacies from Terengganu. Sedap. Well apa lagi made from ikanglah. Itukan specialty Terengganu. So sambil makan and jalam jem lagi tu yang we reached Cherating around 7pm. It took us 3 and half hour. Mak oiii (macam Reen cakap). Penat. So our stop for that day was Impiana. I have been there like 12 years ago. At that time hotel tu macam bestlah. But now oklah but the room cuma lama je. I ni suka yang baru dan modern tapi oklah. The bed is so sedap tido. So we only had room service that day. Penat tau travel ni. U know hubby cheh konon nak order ais kacang..sampai-sampai jek...mak datok!!!!besar giler...3 orang makan pun tak abis...well 5 orang makan pun belum tentu habis. Let me tell it was really huge!!! Macam gunung berapi!!! Sedap. I had nasi goreng istimewa. Oklah sekadar mengalas perut.

Since I ni ada satu perangai yang suka duduk hotel yang best-best jek with facilities yang baru dan cantik....ye ye a very bad habit....so macam tak syok je duduk hotel lama. Jadi I persuaded my darling hubby to check out from Impiana dan check in kat Legend plak. So off we go again. Hem...hotel lama gak. What to do..duduk jelah. But the room is bigger and the food have more variety. And the pool was huge. Banyak section...ya ya like i'm going to swim pun. The little one rasalah jugak the pool but over betul dia menggigil lebih-lebih. So cuma 30mins je dia mandi. Itupun eksen nak mandi lama. Tak sedar diri lagi tuh. Went to the beach. A very peaceful and relaxing moment for me. Seronok betul bercuti. Some people suka belanja the money for baju, handbags, pinggan mangkuk, barang kemas but for me and hubby benda-benda macam tu kami sedikit berkira but kalau bab bercuti and pampering ourselves ni memang tak berkira lansung. As I said life is short so why don't we enjoy God's creation dan jaga ciptaanNya seperti jaga badan dan alam sekitar. Hati pun tenang. Tapi the holiday was a bit spoilt coz hubby had to do his assignment. Next week nak pegi Sabah but hubby kena kerja gak...so bilalah nak cuti sepenuhnya??? Bersyukurlahkan daripada tak pegi langsung...

Cute tak the two babies ni? One is my niece and the other is my daughter...Nurul Amaaneey Mardhiyyah. Took the pics last Saturday. Waktu tu Amaaneey demam. Baju yang they all pakai tu tak sangka sama. Maktok dia yang belikan. My sis came tu mama's house tup tup sama baju. Hehehe...sehati sejiwa. My niece Auni is like 4 months younger than Amaaneey. They do look alike kan. Itulah two little teddies....

Dulu masa belajar kat MRSM I have 2 very good friends (still my good friends) Mie2 and Runiz. We called ourselves 3 little teddies. That name diambil sempena the cartoon character. Memang so childish time tu but it was fun.

Tommorow is Hari Raya Haji. Will be going back to hubby's hometown for korban. Will post later about that and also the road going back. Yelah kot-kot ada banjir ke...hope not. So di kesempatan ini I would like to wish my friends and family Selamat Hari Raya Korban....marilah kita berkorban.

P/S: Orang yang diharap-harapkan baca tamau bukak pun. Bila cakap baru nak baca itupun not with full heart...sigh...

Spa

Last weekend I went to Cintasari Tradispa to claim the free facial voucher worth RM45. Oklah the service. Sedap sangat. They are using Citra Ayu. Muka pun rasa selesa and sejuk. Gebu pipi after the treatment. Hubby said so..hehehe...Lepas dah buat facial tengok dalam brochure apa lagi yang boleh dibuat. Then I decided to buat hair treatment since my hair is so dry and dull. The treatment was good and excellant. Cost me around RM 90. All in all only cost RM98 plus face sponge that I bought. Tamaulah campur-campur dengan sponge orang lain. Every month they all ada buat promotion. This month promotion is Vanila Mocha which consists of sauna aromatherapy, body massage, vanilla mocha scrub, seaweed treatment, flowers and coconut milk bath and ginger tea drink. Usually it will cost u like RM300 per session but on promotion only RM190. Very very tempting. Nak tengok bajetlah like this. Seronok once in a while pemper our body ni. Yelah letih kerja kan. Dapat rehat and pamper your body can really revive and rejuvenite your body and soul. Speaking of mocha, last Friday had lunch with Syida.Hajat di hati nak cari choc mud pie but bila samai Damaz tengok starbucks rasa nak minum plak. Seriously I am not a coffee lover. I am more into tea. But entahlah that day rasa macam nak become adventureous plak. So I ordered entahlah nama apa but something caramel fatuccino. Memang sedap. Sampai sekarang teringat-ingat. U know when I go to like coffee bean ke starbucks ke gloria jeans ke I never ordered coffee but always ordered crushed lemonade, ice tea or chocolate drink, anything but coffee. So bila rasa tu hemmm sedap. Syida pun sampai meleleh-leleh air liur..hehehe..teipuceee...Makan...bila dah minum sebanyak tu makan pun sikitlah. I only had sardine roll while syida had cheese and onion bread. Kenyang air.

Cant wait for the lunch with Syahrin next week. Kali ni kalau pegi Delicious nak order steak pulak. This Thursday will go back to hubby's hometown in KT for raya haji. Korban sana. Then holiday in Cherating and next week KK, Sabah...can't wait for the holidays....

Makan!

Last Wednesday attended farewell lunch for our beloved Pn Hapipah at Halia Restoren situated in Sime Darby Convention Centre. Tak jauh dari office around 10mins drive. But kalau dengan my driving ability it took us about 15-20 mins nak sampai. I am a very careful driver...hehehe...biar lambat asal selamat. Actually this was our second time there. Bukannya sedap sangat but consider cheap and near the office. Anyway its not our choice pun..say no more...But seriously the food...hemmm...how shall i put it....average kot or below skit (i tried to describe it in a very nice way ok).

This was what I had for the main dish. Basically I took everything yang they served on the table. Nasi with deep fried calamari, Vietnamese beef sautee and lamb curry, deep fried prawn, mix vegie, and steamed chicken breast with ginger and onion. Yang paling sedap was deep fried calamari. But the rest taklah berapa. I mean its like this...sekali je u will eat. You takkan ulang-ulang lagi dah. And i think it was a bit dry. Takada kuah pun or sos. So u won't be able to enjoy much.

This was the appetizer. Popiah, kerabu, corn and a bit of sambal belacan plus salad dressing. The popiah was quite nice. But I know the combination memang tak kena. What else to take. Tu yang combination macam tu.

Ini macam bubur cha cha but u'll be surprised that it was actually Vietnamese agar-agar. Hem..too sweat. The taste was not even near bubur cha cha. Tu agar-agar. The combination tak kena langsung. I only had 2 spoon.

Last but not least the assorted fresh fruits skewer with chocolate fundae. Fresh fruits with chocolate coated. You can choose from honey dew, watermelon, papaya or itu je kot. Tak banyak choice. No strawberry though. Kalau ada strawberry barulah boleh jadi macam Datuk K and Siti...hehehehe....tapi choc dia tak sedap. So only had one bite.

Syidah, Kak Mia and Munah sedang sibuk makan. Muka masing-masing macam enjoy the food tapi berlakon jek tu. Munah makan pun tak abis. Syida as usual tak makan nasi. Cayalah Syida. Semangat kental.

Azniza sedang cuba menghabiskan dessert yang berupa sago, brownies, marble cheese cake and opera cake while Syida looked on. But the marble cheese cake tu taste buah durian!! Seriously pelik. Cheese durian. Hem best ke???

So that was our luch on Wednesday. we each manage to finish our meal by two o'clock. Ye ye Munah dapat kembali ke office dengan segera. Sapa kata governement officer tak punctual...duhhh.

I really like to post song's lyrics here. Kadang-kadang susah kita nak express diri kita by saying outloud or some things are just not meant to be said. That's why one way to express myself is by songs. Sebenarnya lagu-lagu yang I post here ada kena-mengena dengan hidup saya tak kiralah past or present. So it is actually describing who I really am and what I am feeling at the moment. And ia juga adalah cerita kisah silam saya. Cuma which songs describe which time tu tak boleh nak cakap. Ha..last Wednesday went to Restoren Halia for a farewell lunch. This weekend I'll post u the pics. Oklah...tunggguuuuu...

REUNION!!!

"Saat gemilang yang aku nantikan...kita menjelma di depan mataku..ku percaya saatkan tiba....hanya menunggu tika dan masa ohhhh...bersama-sama...tempuhi segala...saat Gemilang akan tiba kan kita kecapi bersama.." Itulah lagu unofficial batch 93-94 Terendakians. Bila teringat zaman di MRSM TDK dulu hem...bawak 1001 macam memories. Sooo anyway selepas like 13 years meninggalkan maktab baru sekarang terhegeh-hegeh nak buat reunion. Our batch pun bukanlah ramai sangat. I think slightly over hundred je kot. Perempuan around 40++ jek. Seronoknyerr bila kenang zaman dulu. We all mostlynya anak tentera. So our fathers knew each other. So bila family datang masing-masing taulah ni anak sapa..etc etc. And the funniest part was the boys yang sangatlah nakal dan jahat yang asyik menyakat orang bila the parents came semua jadi macam tikus. Kuikuikui. Even the most ganas pun nampak macam baik. So..the stories...

Balik kepada the main topic, after 13 years of leaving MRSM TDK and after a few attempt for reunion I think this time will be for real. I really really hope so. The bestest years of my life were the 2 years di MRSM. Kenapa best sangat? Well its hard to describe but I learnt about life a lot kat sana. I met different kind of people. Kawan-kawan yang pelik dan kelakar. Although study wise taklah hebat waktu kat sana sebab sibuk main jek. Tulah yang harap sangat yang reunion this time menjadi. This is baru planning stage. But I will try my very best to make it happen...caiyo!caiyo!

Dulu waktu Form 5 we even celebrated our anniversary masuk maktab. I can still remember the baju that I wore...green kebaya dengan rambut yang disanggulkan. And I can still remember the venue...Dewan Sri Budiman....the girls with beautiful baju kurungs and kebayas and the boys dengan slack masing-masing and long sleeve shirt. Ambik gambar sikit punya banyak. And kami ada lagu tau...Gemilang by Ella....waktu tu nak SPM so bila dengar lagu ni macam semangat jek. Seriously jiwang masing-masing. So ni lirik dia...as always...

So cheap!!!

U know that i am so gila with Meteor Garden kanand F4 so I decided last weekend to go and buy the complete set of the series Meteor Garden II. Went to Ampang Point. So at Speedy jumpalah the episode 25-31, I have the 1-8 episode already. Bila belek-belek tengok the price...can u just imagie it only cost me RM7.00. RM7!!!!! Wah macam nak pengsan. So cheap. Previously they sold it at RM70++. Untung. Tapi belum sempat nak tengok. But yang part 1 dah abis. Entahlah bila tengok cerita tu rasa macam berada in that story jugak. I just adore Jerry Yan (Dao Meng Si). His next drama will be out soon. Hot Shots. Its about basketball. But whatever it is I still think that his character in MG was the most perfect and the best. He has also acted in The Hospital. Memang I like to watch tv. hobi tu. But lately ni tak sempat. Cuti sekolah....

Kalau lagu from F4 I like Qing Fei Dei Yi. Now the F4 is changing their name. They are now JKVK...something like that kot. Something to do with contract. I hope the producer of MG will produce MG3. Mak suke betul.

To my hubby....caiyo!caiyo! Good luck. Do your best. Exam PTK...

Ha...end of this year nak pergi bercuti to Sabah!!!!!Ye!Ye! Dah beli tiket and everything. Later I will post the best of Sabah. I love sabah.

The Coast

Yap..this was where me and Syida went for lunch last Friday. Mula-mula nak ajak syida pegi makan at Uncle Don. Makan waffle..yummy but change of plan. Masuk kat Plaza Damaz tu terus macam jom makan kat The Coast.

What we had? Seriously the food was good and affordable. Syida had a lunch set consists of soup of the day, fish and rice and ice lemon tea. The price? Only RM12 maa. Ok kan.

This was the soup Syida had. Entahlah soup apa. I asked her...she said..soup of the day...duhh..anyway memang no mention in the menu pun. But It was quite delicious. Creamy and a bit sour.

Ni nasi Syida. As always she had to abandon the rice again. Coz ni dah masuk 3 minggu dia tak makan nasi. Gua salute sama lu girl. She only had the fish. I tak rasa pun coz I don't like to eat fish fillet. Rasa cam nak muntah. But sebenarnya sedap. Crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. For those who love fish and chips you might find this dish mouth watering.

What I had? Actually I have no idea what to order. I do not want to eat rice. And I don't want anything heavy. So after much thought, I chose Fried Chicken Sandwich and ice lemon tea.

Crispy fried chicken, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and fries. The chicken nampak macam McChicken. But the taste was 100% better. So crispy and so tender. Seriously it got my mouth full with the chicken and the vegies. The combination was so classic and soooooo damn sinful. Yap....there goes my diet again....

Last but not least our mission....to find the very best of....the CHOC MUD PIE!!!!!!

As usual our favourite meal...although it is soooooooo full of fats and high in calories...yap...dessert. So Syida suggested that from now on we should go and look for the best choc mud pie in town. When I looked at the dessert corner my eyes caught the ever tasty Coast Mud Pie. In the menu it didn't look so mouth watering and a bit small. Rasa macam tak cukup. But when it got to our table, it was huge...luckily kami tidak mahu tamak lagi and to watch our waisteline, we ordered one and we shared. First bite rasa macam ice cream with chocolate coated. But after a few bites kata Syida 'tastes between heaven and earth'...so out of this world. Let me tell u in a simple word...'sedap nak mampusss'....the mud pie was so full of character and surprises. Macam ada filling chocolate sneakers, ada oreo biscuits. Things unexpected thingy. Memang sedap. Syida gave 4 stars. So Syahrin...u still wanna eat those Delicious choc cake??? This cannot compare....

So there goes our diet but not money. Next month our mission to go and find the finest and best choc mud pie will continue.

Oh by the way this was the shoe that I bought last week. Ok tak?

Entahlah today I feel kind of light. I still do have other burden but somehow I feel lighter. Still not happy though...ya ya misery again. 'They said misery loves company.'

Today is a bit cloudy. Cold. It matches my mood. U know some people kata kalau kerja kerajaan ni asyik dok goyang kaki dan tak buat apa-apa. Relax je. That is so not true. I do not know how can certain people have this kind of mentality. Actually those who screw up is not the upper tier. Because from my experience we hardly could go out for lunch on time. Usually 2++ baru free. Kadang-kadang tu langsung tak sempat nak makan. Other departments pun kalau tak pukul 8 tu tak balik lagilah. So why people always think that kalau kerja ngan government ni relax? I think they just assume. Tulah pasal 'assumption is mother ***ker'. You have to be 'in' before u can judge.

I had join this Yahoo group...now dah unsubscribe dah pun. Takdelah a friend asked about the government sector. So I told her my experience. Then this person tiba-tiba like so sarcastic condemn the public sector. My husband said nanti janganlah bagi anak dia kerja govt. Entahlah sometime certain people when they have this kind of thinking towards something dia takkan ubah punya. And I i think if u benci sangat pun just keep it to yourselflah coz when u cakap tu people might get hurt. And who knows kalau Tuhan nak tunjuk someday u'll need your friend's yang kerja govt help ke tak malu ke u nak mintak tolong. So the moral of the story is always watch what u said coz once said u can never take it back.

This weekend my hubby adik beradik nak datang rumah. Around 15 people....hem...kena masak. Dunno wat to cook dont have experience layan ramai orang yang tidur rumah.

Can't wait for my vacation next week and end of year ni.

Vacation!!!

Letih betullah rasa lately ni macam tak bermaya. I think it is because of the weather. Can you feel the heat? Seriously I can't stand the heat. Mata pun tak boleh nak bukak. Rasa macam panas je. Work wise pun dah semakin banyak dan meletihkan for the past few days. I couldn't have good night sleep either coz my daughter pun asyik-asyik mengigau je. So I had to wake up like every 2-3 hours...hem..papa dia?...penyabar betul sampai anak menangis pun tak perasan or buat-buat tak perasan....or sabar dengan tangisan anak sampai tak bangun...men!

Due to that and my misery part 2...ya ya ya will be in misery again...I long for a really really nice vacation. Or a good spa will do. Nah...both would be better. A good vacation and spa..soooo last weekend I went to Ampang Point to get a new working shoe. So tengah dok lalu lalang kat luar the ever tempting Dunkin' Donats(wrong spelling ka) ternampak lak ada orang buat promotion Cinta Sari Spa near my mom's house. So the promotion was, get the VIP card for RM25 and you are entitled to free facial and 20% discaunt for any choosen treatment. Nice kan. Bak kata orang mengantuk disorongkan bantal. So plan to do the facial on the 16th coz by that time I am extremely happy...yang lain-lain tu maybe after that. Wanna have a lookaround dulu.

Vacation...hemm nak ajak pegi jalan-jalan gak. Coz so much misery had been caused lately ni. Jangan lupa dear bawak jalan-jalan..btw do u know tak lagu Laskar Cinta from Dewa..nice kan. Listen to it on the Youtube. Ok until now..oh ya nanti I'll post the shoes that I bought. Oklah asalkan boleh jalan. And cute..Laskar Cinta....

What a beautiful morning!! I was driving to work as usual this morning. Nothing different but the sunrise, the early morning light...well it was so beautiful. I was driving on the elevated highway and that's when I fell in love with KL!! Seriously...it was a breathtaking sight. And suddenly this song took over my feelings...(it was playing on the radio)...macam tau-tau jek.

Although it was not from the real singer (Extreme) but Frankie J..it will do. With the background song and the fabulous view...I am extremely happy.
